Abstract

Public policies for Women, with emphasis on the ``Women Living Without Violence'' program, one of the most comprehensive government programs in addressing gender violence against women, were among the leading programs of PT - the Workers' Party, and, consequently, one of the main objects of the deconstruction initiated by the government of Michel Temer, who came into power with the 2016 Coup. In contrast to the participatory state feminism propagated by the governments Lula da Silva and Dilma Rousseff, Michel Temer installed an ultraliberal government based on patriarchalism, characterized by the absence of female representation in the upper echelons and without commitment to the struggles and demands of women. My objective in this work will be to discuss both the advances made during the Lula and Dilma Governments regarding the confrontation of violence against women and the dismantling of these policies since the removal and impeachment of President Dilma and the implementation of the Michel Temer government
