Protagoras and the meaning of aisthesis

Abstract

This article aims to show that the meaning of Protagoras responds aisthesis for the use and significance of the Ionian philosophy, that is, still means either judgment, feeling, emotion, belief, finally, doxa. This is a very important result for understanding the homo mensura and the thesis which states: aisthesis is episteme.
