Abstract

This paper is an attempt to contribute to the revelation and reestablishing the subject of public restrooms in the urban development agenda. The lack of public restrooms has an effect on a large group of people that cannot have the mobility they would like in public spaces and also may affect their health. Women, the elderly, children, handicapped people, homeless, street vendor, beggars are the victims of the lack of public restrooms. This service is a necessary not only as a public equipment also it can be a means to allow social integration.
